Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Nothing better than a burger on a hot summer day! These are some of the best burgers I've ever had! I never thought about putting horseradish in a burger, but it really works!

Cheddar Bacon Burgers:
1 lb ground beef                                      1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese              1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish           1/2 cup real bacon bits
1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Preheat grill for high heat.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, Cheddar cheese, horseradish, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and bacon bits using your hands. Shape into 4 patties.
3. Lightly oil the grill gate. Place hamburger patties on the grill, and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Serve on buns.

Note: Keep the meat cold until you're ready to cook it, otherwise it will fall apart. Make sure to make the patties thinner in the center than on the outside, to keep them from puffing up.
